Howdy! Sorry I haven't commented lately - things have been kinda nutso-crazy here. We're gearing up for two parades - one is a "welcome home" parade for the soldiers in our county who were over there and just got home.. i'm gonna get to meet our adopted combat medic! I'm so excited!!!! and the other is the 4th of July parade (theme: freedom isnt free) so things have been nuts. But I HAVE been reading the posts and praying for y'all OFTEN...VERY often.

Thanks for all you do - we appreciate y'all.

Just popping by to say hi, and let you know y'all are in our prayers.

Why I Write...

  • On 22 November 05 I received orders to report to Ft Shelby, Mississippi. I have been ordered to join the 1st Brigade Combat Team from Minnesota. I will be the chaplain of the 1-125 Field Artillary Unit, which is being re-tasked as a convoy security unit. We will leave for Iraq in the spring of 2006. Here is the story of my journey.
